SAIL

Club racing at the Royal Hamilton has been going for over 100 years. Club racing involves yachts from both the Royal Hamilton as well as BS&BC. A typical night will see fifty yachts compete in five separate divisions. Both white sail and spinnaker divisions compete in the spring, summer and fall series.

POWER

RHYC has a long history of power boating on the bay. Past Commodore Harold Greening, a wealthy Hamilton industrialist was the first and only winner of the Lipton Cup. This trophy was awarded to him for successfully competing in a 90 NM race, in 3 legs in 1928. Today, power boaters make up a significant portion of our membership and participate in power specific events during sailing regattas as well as joining the sail boat contingent on cruises to other clubs around the lake. RHYC is truly a club for all, power or sail.
