Sailing boat

Junior Sail Auction

March 2019

Dear Sir or Madam,

The Royal Hamilton Yacht Club Sail & Power Boat Training program for youth and adults, is preparing for its annual fund-raising evening on Saturday April 6th, 2019 at 7:00pm. We expect attendance of 80 to 100 people.  The evening will include a silent and live auction. The event is in support of our publicly accessible programs, which provides instruction to children and adults including individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities. We also support a number of children from City Kidz to introduce them to sailing.  It is largely volunteer run and has supported youth sailors in local, provincial, national and international competition.

We are asking for a donation from your establishment to be used in the auction. We would like to suggest an item that would appeal to a broad audience. All donors will be recognized with a name card on the auction table. We will also list the donors in our newsletter that is circulated to our membership of 300.

If you wish any further verification or information, please do not hesitate to call the General Manager or myself.  The Royal Hamilton Yacht Club’s mission is to promote and perpetuate the activity of boating, the social enjoyment of its members and to provide a positive benefit to our neighborhood and the people of Hamilton/Burlington and surrounding area.  It is a non-profit organization without share capital.

Yours truly,
